Before you choose a stain, one honest thing about wood
Every board grew somewhere. Grain, texture and colour vary from board to board, and mineral streaks — the dark areas in the timber — are characteristic of hardwood rather than a defect. Colour also shifts as wood ages, so cabinets added two years later will not match exactly, and a door sample will never be a perfect match for a finished run. We would rather you hear that from us in the showroom than discover it on install day.
02 Kitchen remodeling
We have been remodeling kitchens in and around Waynesville for over twenty years.
Fully licensed and insured for light through heavy remodeling. Hundreds of styles and selections in oak, maple and cherry at factory-direct pricing. A renovation here usually covers some part of the following, and we will tell you at the measure which parts your room actually needs.
- Layout and design — proportion, working triangle, and where the light falls.
- Reconfiguring the kitchen you have for better function and a consistent theme, without moving the house around.
- Removing a wall to open the kitchen into an adjoining room and gain floor space.
- Doors and windows replaced for daylight and for the energy saving.
- Adding an island — storage, prep, seating, or all three.
- Lighting design, backsplash, flooring, painting and wallpaper removal.
- Design, sale and installation of cabinetry, countertops, flooring, electrical and plumbing, coordinated through one shop.
03 Bathroom remodeling
Vanities, tall storage and tops for a room where every inch is spoken for.
Bathrooms are the job where stock sizes fail first. A vanity that is two inches too wide stops the door, and a linen run that is two inches too shallow is a shelf you never use. We build the cabinetry to the room: single and double vanities, tall linen and medicine storage, drawer banks that clear the trap, and tops cut and templated to match.
Same trade as the kitchen work, same licence and insurance, same showroom to choose from. If the bathroom is part of a larger renovation, it gets specified at the same time as the kitchen so the finishes and the hardware agree with each other.
Where people usually start
Bring a photograph of the room on your phone and a rough width. That is enough for a first conversation at the counter, and it costs nothing.
