A family and a sawmill

Terry and Dionne are both natives of Stites, Idaho. Their dream of starting their own local log home company came to be in 1999. Since then we have been very busy building custom homes, brokering logs and selling wholesale to other companies.

The kids — Tera, Sawyer, Sheldon and Syringa — being mostly homeschooled, have been raised in the log yard helping, and learning the tricks of the trade through the years. We strive to maintain the friendly, family owned atmosphere while serving our customers with professional advice.

Local dead standing timber

Proudly manufactured in the U.S.A. using only local dead standing timber. Dead standing has already given up most of its moisture on the stump, which is why a wall cut from it settles less and checks less than one cut green.

It also means the log came from within a short haul of Stites, and we graded it ourselves before it went on the mill.
