Excavation, septic and concrete in Kalispell, Montana

Manzo Enterprises LLC has been moving ground across the Flathead Valley since 2013 — site preparation, foundation digs, septic systems, driveway grading and demolition. Serving Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls and the surrounding areas.

01

Excavation & site preparation

Before anything gets built, the ground has to be right. We clear the lot, strip and stockpile topsoil, cut and fill to the levels on your plan, and hand over a compacted pad the concrete crew can work off the same week. Driveway grading, drainage and access roads included.

Cross-section diagram: existing slope is cut on the high side and filled on the low side to produce one level building pad. EXISTING GRADE CUT FILL COMPACTED PAD

Cut on the high side, fill on the low side, one level pad to build off.

  • Lot and land clearing
  • Foundation and basement digs
  • Driveway grading and gravel
  • Trenching for utilities and water lines
  • Rough and finish grading, drainage

02

Septic installation

We have a licensed septic installer on the crew, so one company carries the whole job. We help get your permits in place, order the design and the materials, then finish it ourselves — excavating and installing the tank and the drainfield lines. You are not chasing three separate contractors and a county office.

Permits, design, materials, tank and drainfield — one crew, one number to call.

  • New septic system installation
  • Permit paperwork and design ordering
  • Tank set and drainfield lines

Concrete

We dug the hole, so we know what is under the slab. Forming and pouring on ground we prepared ourselves means the base is compacted, the drainage is right and nobody is arguing about whose fault the crack is two winters from now.

Section diagram: compacted gravel base, vapour barrier, reinforcing steel, and a thickened concrete edge footing below frost depth. SLAB COMPACTED BASE + BARRIER THICKENED EDGE

Base, barrier, steel, thickened edge — the parts you stop seeing after the pour.

  • Footings and foundation walls
  • Slabs, garage and shop floors
  • Driveways, approaches and aprons
  • Flatwork, sidewalks and pads
  • Concrete and asphalt removal

04

Construction & demolition

Full-scale residential house demolition and mobile home removal, plus selective interior demolition for a major renovation — taking out what has to go without touching what stays. Concrete and asphalt removal, and construction debris hauled away so the lot is genuinely clear when we leave it.

Three-step diagram: an existing structure, the same lot cleared and hauled out, and a finished level pad ready to build on. STANDING REMOVED PAD

Down, hauled out, and levelled — a lot you can build on, not a pile to deal with.

  • Residential house demolition
  • Mobile home removal
  • Selective interior demolition for renovations
  • Hauling and junk removal
  • Flathead Lake dock repair
  • Wildfire defensible space — forestry mulching and tree thinning

Twelve years of Flathead ground

Manzo Enterprises LLC was founded in 2013 by Francisco D Manzo-Gonzales. In his own words, he has grown from a young boy with a dream and honest hard work to a company that includes family, employees and subcontractors. That is twelve years of digging in the same valley, for people who can drive past the work.

  • Licensed and insured. Earthworks carries real risk — utilities, slopes, neighbouring property. You should never be the one carrying it.
  • A licensed septic installer on staff. Permits, design, materials and installation handled inside one company.
  • One crew, several trades. Excavation, septic, concrete and demolition under one number, so the dig and the pour are not two arguments.
  • Local, and staying. Based at 175 Hutton Ranch Road in Kalispell, working Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls and the surrounding areas.

To the client: use the partially demolished A-frame with your skid-steer in frame, from the “Transformations” section of your current site. It is the best picture you own and it is currently five screens down the page.

Call 406-291-1963

Worth having to hand when you ring: where the job is, roughly what the ground is like, and whether anything is already permitted. For a septic, the number of bedrooms and whether the county has seen a design yet answers most of it.
