Tell us where you are in the year and we will tell you what we do about it.

Lake Pros runs a full marine service centre and a dock & lift crew out of one building on Highway 371. Spring install, summer service, fall removal, winter storage — the same phone number covers all four.

Storm took your dock apart?

Straight-line wind on a Brainerd lake will fold a canopy, twist a lift and push a dock up the bank. Storm recovery is one of the things the barge is for. Call the shop and describe what you are looking at — do not try to pull it in yourself.

Storm work is booked by phone, not by form.

01 — Spring · ice-out to the first long weekend

Get it in the water, and get it clean before anybody sees it.

  1. Dock & lift install

Spring install off our dock barge, on any local lake. Sectional, roll-in or floating — whatever is on your shoreline goes back where it belongs, lift set to depth, wheels down, canopy back on and squared up.

  2. Dock washing

A winter of waterline and algae comes off the decking and the posts before the first weekend guests arrive. Booked alongside the install so the crew is only out once.

  3. Canopy cleaning

The canopy is the part everybody sees from the water and the part nobody washes. Cleaned and checked over before it goes back on the lift frame.

  4. New dock & lift sales

If the old one came out of the lake in pieces last fall, there is a sales floor and sales associates in the same building as the service crew — so the people selling it are the people who will be standing in the water installing it.

Use the barge shot already on your homepage: the crew on the barge alongside a freshly installed sectional dock. It is the single best picture on your site and it is currently behind a link tile.

Spring install fills up. Call (218) 568-4853 or email Charlie to get on the schedule.

02 — Summer · it is in, keep it running

Full marine service centre, and a barge for when the weather wins.

  1. Marine service — all brands

Knowledgeable technicians and a full marine service centre. We service all brands with quality parts, which matters in July when the part is the difference between a weekend on the water and a weekend in the yard.

  2. Storm recovery

Docks off their posts, lifts twisted, canopies stripped. We come out on the barge, recover what came apart, and tell you honestly what is repairable and what is not.

  3. Transportation

Moving a dock, a lift or a boat — lake to lake, lake to the shop, or to a new place entirely. Hauled by people who install this equipment for a living.

  4. Barge service

Anything that has to happen off the shoreline rather than on it. If it needs to be reached from the water, the barge is how we reach it.

Call (218) 568-4853 — the shop answers Monday to Saturday.

03 — Fall · get it out before the ice does it for you

Dock and lift removal, then wrapped and put away.

  1. Dock & lift removal

Pulled with the barge, stacked on your shore or hauled back to us. Ice does not negotiate: a lift left in one week too long is a repair bill in April, so removal is booked ahead on a schedule rather than on the day you notice a skim on the bay.

  2. Outdoor shrink wrap

If it is staying outside, it goes under wrap — boats, pontoons and covered equipment sealed against snow load and melt.

  3. End-of-season service

The right time to fix what annoyed you all summer is October, not the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. Service work booked in the off-season comes back to you ready.

Fall removal is scheduled first-booked-first-out. Call (218) 568-4853 or email Charlie.

04 — Winter · six months indoors

Brainerd Lakes area boat storage, indoor and wrapped.

  1. Indoor storage

Pontoons, wakeboats, PWC and boats stored inside. Inside storage is not only about snow — it is about what freeze-and-thaw cycles do to upholstery, gelcoat and seals over a Minnesota winter.

  2. Outdoor shrink wrap storage

The option that costs less. Wrapped tight, vented, and checked rather than tarped and forgotten.

  3. Service while it is stored

It is already in our building. Winter is the cheapest time to have the work done, and it comes out in spring finished instead of queued.

Storage space is finite and it goes early. Call (218) 568-4853.

05 — The shop

One building on Highway 371, and the same family behind it since 1998.

The marine side of Lake Pros has been family owned and ran since 1998. The dock and lift division is new — started in 2026 with a group of hard working guys brought in to work alongside the marine business. So the crew putting your dock in is new; the shop standing behind it is twenty-eight years old.
